About Us

"The River City Youth Ballet Ensemble was founded to give talented young dancers an opportunity to learn and grow in the performing arts providing the student with a sound, quality dance education that gives them a forum to share their talents with the community." —Michelle Raider, Artistic Director

Safety

It is extremely important that your child be taught by an informed and highly qualified group of instructors. The River City Youth Ballet School provides the experience your child needs to stay safe and avoid injuries, while learning from diligent professionals. This is especially true in the art of ballet. Improper training can cause irreparable damage to a child’s feet, legs and bone development.

Overview

The primary goal of the River City Youth Ballet School is to educate our students in the art of dance. We offer classes in ballet, modern, tap, jazz and creative movement.

Students of all skill levels are welcome, because we feel that providing dance training to children no matter what their degree of interest is vital to their development physically and mentally.

At the River City Youth Ballet, we give dancers options. That’s why we offer both a pre-professional track and
a fun track. Every child regardless of age, body type or ability should be given the chance not only to enjoy the art of dance, but enjoy the poise, confidence and creativity dance can bring to their lives.

The studio is under the direction of the RCYBE Company founder and Walnut Hills Performing Arts graduate, Michelle Raider.
