Everyone but the poor Prince lives happily ever after when the River City Youth Ballet Ensemble, the West Virginia Youth Symphony, and the Appalachian Children’s Chorus re-tell the stories of the three princesses, with endings that may surprise you. The Snow Queen

River City Youth Ballet celebrated the holidays with its production of Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale The Snow Queen, with original choreography set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev in December 2008. This annual production is sure to become a new holiday tradition for everyone!

The River City Ensemble is honored to have been named West Virginia’s Official Youth Ballet during the 2007 Legislative Session.
We extend our sincerest thanks to the members of the West Virginia Legislature, and hope that our expanding contributions to the area’s cultural life will continue to merit this honor.
